2025 Free Childcare Summer Program Recap at Spreading Childcare
Hello to all visiting families of Spreading Childcare! This summer, our Free Childcare Summer Program was full of learning, growth, and joyful memories. We’re so grateful to share some of the highlights with you.
What We’ve Been Doing
We used a comprehensive online learning program for K–12 students to strengthen important skills in English Language Arts and Math. Children also received one-on-one support with challenging areas, including practice worksheets that matched their grade level.
Throughout our Free Childcare Summer Program, we encouraged positive peer interactions, helped children build friendships, practice teamwork, and develop healthy emotional regulation habits. We are so proud of the effort and growth our students showed during these activities.
Summer Fun
Alongside learning, we made plenty of time for fun! Highlights included exciting visits to Sky Zone, playful afternoons at the local park and splash pad, fun group dinners and meals, and a special day with exotic animals visiting our center.
These activities gave children opportunities to explore, stay active, and share joyful memories together.
We also emphasized community and connection throughout our Free Childcare Summer Program — creating spaces where children could build confidence, express creativity, and feel a sense of belonging.
